The METZ CONNECT IP44 SG surface-mounted housing with hinged cover lock is the perfect Ethernet junction box for use in covered outdoor areas, damp rooms or indoor areas subject to heavy mechanical stress. Junction boxes with IP44 protection are protected against splashing water on all sides and the ingress of solid objects larger than 1 mm.
This makes them suitable for installation in roofed outdoor areas, damp rooms and places with increased exposure to dust particle contamination. This creates optimum conditions for applications in gardens, on balconies and terraces as well as in garages and workshops.
Thanks to the use of robust, break-proof materials with a reinforced housing, installation is also possible in areas subject to heavy mechanical stress, such as production halls and industrial storage facilities.
The lockable and sealable hinged cover ensures reliable access protection against unauthorized users even when patch cables are plugged in. The modern housing design, available in pure white and grey, emphasizes the aesthetic side, which is not only functional but also visually appealing.
