Push-in single terminals SM99S and SR99S
Compact Single Pole Terminal Blocks – Quick, Safe, Reliable
The optimal use of space on the circuit board with ever smaller and flatter devices becomes more and more important in the design process. The limited space on the circuit board can therefore be optimally used thanks to the flexibly placeable SM99 and SR99 individual terminals and their very compact design. This innovation from METZ CONNECT also focused on the market requirements of integration, migration, miniaturization and reliability and complexity. The single spring-cage terminals are offered in SMT and THR versions as bulk goods or in tape & reel packaging. Different color variants also allow application-guided coding. This includes, for example, electrotechnical colors such as red, blue, black and brown. For more colors, see the overview below.
Thanks to the push-in technology for the wire connection and the large finger handle for the wire release, they offer perfect ease of use. Solid wires and strands with wire end ferrules can simply be inserted. In addition, the individual spring-cage terminals offer a very high level of connection security thanks to a wire connection display and a test tap for continuity testing. Cores with a connection cross-section of 0.2 - 1.5 mm² can be connected, the nominal current is up to 9A. Thus, the single spring-cage terminal is the perfect solution for the circuit board connection and can be used in almost all industrial and building automation applications be used.
